Anghiari (pictured left) is conveniently positioned very close to the Tuscan / Umbria border.

There are numerous places of interest worth visiting, both locally and further afield. Sansepolcro, birthplace of the painter Piero della Francesca is literally five minutes from Anghiari and has plenty to offer.

For those wishing to venture out Assisi, Cortona Siena and Florence amongst others are within very easy reach.
